Kwara United head coach, Abubakar Bala has predicted a difficult clash against hosts, Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC.

The Harmony Boys are guests of the Olukoya Boys in Wednesday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 2 clash at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.


Both sides are competing for honours in Group A of the NPFL 2018/19 abridged league.

Prior to the midweek clash hosts, MFM FC fell 0-2 to multiple champions, Enyimba in the season’s opener in Aba while the llorin side shared the spoils with visitors, Sunshine Stars in llorin.

Bala said his side are determined to get a positive result from the expected difficult match at the Lagos landlords.

“Naturally, the NPFL matchday 2 clash against hosts, MFM FM on Wednesday in Lagos will be difficult.

“Recall that the Lagos side lost their season’s opener at Enyimba with two unanswered goals in Aba.

“So we expect the clash to be more difficult than the one we played against the Akure side, Sunshine Stars.

“Recall, too we played a 1-1 draw against Sunshine Stars in our first match at home in llorin.

“Two of us are evenly matched and ever desirous to earn our first three points of the new season.

“We will fight hard to get a positive result from the clash to help maintain a high morale among our youngsters.


“Our team is highly new but I’m confident that as we progress on the calendar things we be shaping better for us,” said the former Niger Tornadoes coach said to frontpixs.com.

The llorin sid are second on the NPFL 12-team Group A log on one point two behind leaders, Enyimba.
