They put on the garment of courage

and put behind the garment of cowardice.

Crouch like a toad they lay in the cold night full of whispers .

Armed with the cold weapons of destruction .

Protecting us from the pangs of terrorism .

Their families kept their anxious gaze never to know if

they will be back knocking at the door

They look forward to the light glare of their children with arms outstretched waiting to feel the warmth of their souls

Coupled with their giggling voices.


Oh! Their wishes was just a vision in a fool man's dream

Their brave soul now lie in lifeless in a cold blood

With battle wounds and injuries

Carting away their brave souls !

Ignorant of the wailing and mourning of their loved ones.
