Recently I met a friend who brought up the issue of drug test as part of requirement for being recruited into both military and Para-military sectors. He mentioned that even if you don't smoke but mistakenly walk past and inhale weed smoke or peradventure make use of some legit "off-the counter drugs", the drug test will result into positive hence leading to your disqualification. This sounds very strange to me although I could remember Kolo Toure of Liverpool some years ago got banned for taking a drug which was meant for his wife.
I want to know how drug test is conducted in Nigeria by the NDLEA. Do they make use of blood sample or the urine sample collected or other means?
