Are U aware that it is only those that remember God when it is well with them that are guaranteed sound prosperity? Deuteronomy 8:18. What this means is that God is looking for those that He will commit finance into their hands. But He is scared due to the fact that we easily forget Him when He (God) does that.

Why do we forget God when it is well with us?
1. We will be too busy with the things around us and pay less attention to Him
2. We can easily waste the money on an extravagant living, and as such the accuser will call us PRODIGAL SON.
3. We can misuse the money to marry second and third wives without really fulfilling the purpose why the money was given to us.
4. We may even abandon the faith.
5. We may become so proud, arrogant and pompous that God himself will be angry at us.
6. We may use it to sponsor rebellion against God himself.

Can someone help me with other ways that we MAY forget God, when it is well with us.


But note that to be qualified for a financial release from God, you should first of all learn on how NOT TO FORGET GOD when it is well with you. And this is the main essence of this E-EVANGELISM.

Why do we forget God when it is well with us?

Looking on the number one reason why people forget God when it is well with them. On the issue of been busy, Mark 4:18-19 has this to say

"And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

What is the meaning of sowing the word of God on the THORNS?
The first place in the Bible where thorns appeared was in Genesis 3:18. The word of God said that the earth was cursed to be bringing out thorns and thistles due to Adam's sin. We do not need to plant thorns and thistles in our fields. But they naturally grow. But our first labor before planting is to clear our lands from thorns and thistles, before planting. If there are not thorns and thistles in a barren land, that land is a wilderness which can never support plant life. What this means is that if the thorns and thistles in our hearts are not cleared before planting the word of God in our hearts; surely the word will not be fruitful. As the word grows, the thorns and thistles grow as well. And the end result is that the word is choked by these growth.

An example of this is a man called 'William "Bud" Post' who won $16.2 million in the Pennsylvania lottery in 1988 but now lives on his Social Security.
When he won this lottery, the thorns that sprang up were as follows;
a. A former girlfriend of his sued him for a share of this money and she got some. And this is only one of the many law suits that came up against him and had a share of his fortune.
b. His brother was arrested for hiring hit man to kill him hoping to inherit a share of his winnings.
c. Other siblings pestered him until he agreed to invest in a car business and a restaurant in Sarasota, Fla. These two ventures did not yield anything and this further strained his relationship with his siblings.
d. He spent time in jail as well for firing a shot at a bill collector, and this has a toll on his fortune.
e. Within one year, which is 1989, he was one million dollars in debt.

This very man (Post, 65 yrs) currently lives in a hired apartment that he is paying $450 a month.
This is just one of the SPRINGING UP of the thorns and thistles from the ground.
