An endangered turtle was killed after it was caught by some residents in Lagos.

The sea dwelling animal, was butchered by the residents who deemed it right to make a meal out of it.

The animal killing is coming days after a leather-back turtle, was saved from certain death by a woman, Doyinsola Ogunye, at Elegushi Beach in Lagos, after it came ashore.

for the umpteenth time..what kinda barbaric mentality is this??..like is that the level of hunger people are that they deemed it OKAY to butcher and eat such aquatic creatures?..wtf?..this is beyond grotesque and highly appalling
