My groundmum just did her in Benin, when we initially took Her to a private hospital that charge us 350 for one and both 700k, guest what we left and took her to UBTH arhat charge 45k for each both 90k

Starts at 210k at AELC Benin and it is done exclusively by expatriates using laser equipment

Why go for surgery, when you can clear it at no cost using plant leaves? Though, only eyes that have not been operated.

It all depends on the hospital. My mum just did hers at National Eye centre Kaduna (the biggest eye hospital in West Africa) and the total cost is less than 70k. I have contacts there and the hospital boasts of modern day equipment and experienced manpower.

Niger optical centre in ENUGU gave us an estimated bill of 210k, but KADUNA is by far better and cost-effective

Haven't done anything yet. Still managing the vision like that. I'm afraid to go ahead with the surgery, due to fear of complications, because that's my only seeing eye left.

My other eye is almost blind due to another different issue.

Bro.... just make sure whoever is going to do the surgery has and excellent track record ... not good ... excellent ... and the follow up is great in terms of check ups and medications. If you can't find a NGO such as Doctors Without Borders or a reputable hospital then somehow find a way to raise funds to have it done abroad. I had "cataract surgery" due to a different issue ... lens replaced etc. Went completely blind in the eye in a short time... like 2 months. After surgery.... follow ups and various eye drops a must. Don't wait until you lose vision ... but at the same time don't rush and risk a failed surgery. Do your research well well.

Inquire at Airforce Military Hospital,Ikeja. They have good eye Surgeons.

i received a miracle in winner's chapel program called shiloh on December 11th. A man came to me in the dream and put an eyedrop in my eyes and walked away with all my eyedrops. i woke up and tears flow out from that eyes, that was the end. This is my pictures of before and after

Sorry to hear that happened to you.

That's what is actually holding me back from going ahead with the surgery. I have some vision left in the eye with cataract, it isn't great, but manageable.

Like i said, the eye with the cataract is my only seeing eye, i can't risk going totally blind, because my other eye is almost blind already, due to an infection. All my hope is, getting money someday to able to afford a surgery abroad.

Doing pretty good!.... full sight the next day..... the new eye seeing like everything like under brilliant sunshine and the old eye like under candle light! ..... but it took some time to even up so is like normal now. If you can afford abroad .... fine but if not .... find the best you can locally.... I'm sure many can get it done very well... just that you have to do some research.
