Samsung Mobile recently launched the 10th generation of the Samsung Galaxy S Series after series of leaks. The Samsung Galaxy S10 was launched alongside the Samsung Galaxy S10+ and a ‘budget’ friendly Samsung Galaxy S10e. The Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with HDR10, Snapdragon 855 SoC, a triple camera setup, 3,400mAh battery capacity and a runs Samsung’s New One UI out of the box which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Design And Display
The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a Corning Gorilla glass at the back and also at the front on top the 6.1-inch 1440p Dynamic AMOLED display with an eye-popping 550ppi. It has a 19:9 aspect ratio with a punch-hole camera placed at the top right corner of the screen.

This device uses an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, looking at the back of the device is the triple camera setup. The device measures 7.8mm and it weighs 157 grams. This smartphone comes in a wide variety of colours options to choose from which includes; Prism Black, Prism White, Prism Blue, Prism Green, Canary Yellow and Flamingo Pink.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Camera Review
Samsung Galaxy S10 have a total of 4 cameras, 3 of which are placed at the back and one in the front for selfies. The rear cameras is made up of a main 12MP wide angle camera with an aperture of f/1.5-2.4, dual Pixel PDAF and OIS, a secondary 12MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, Auto Focus, OIS and 2x optical zoom, lastly is a 16MP ultrawide Camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

Features of the rear camera include an LED flash, Auto-HDR and Panorama. It can also record 4k, 1080p and 720p videos at 60, 240 and 960fps respectively. The Camera also have the ability to record a video using both the front facing camera and rear camera at once. For the front facing camera, there is a single 10MP camera with an f/1.9 aperture in the punch-hole which has dual Pixel PDAF, Auto HDR and can also record 4k and 1080p videos at 30fps.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Hardware and Software
This smartphone have two versions, one comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC; a 7nm based chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz, paired with an Adreno 640 GPU. The other versions has a Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC; an 8nm based chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz, paired with a Mali-G76 MP12 depending on the market.

The devices will both have 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 512GB of storage, regardless of the SoC on the smartphone. Storage expansion is possible in the dual SIM variant which uses the Hybrid second SIM slot for a microSD card slot as well. It runs Samsung’s new One UI out of the box which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. This device is IP68 certified which means it is water and dust proof.

Battery & Network Connectivity
Samsung Galaxy S10 is powered with a 3,400mAh battery capacity with a 15W fast charging and also a 15W wireless charging. It can also be used as a power bank as it supports reverse wireless charging for Qi-compatible devices, with a maximum of just 9W.

Other features of the Samsung Galaxy S10 includes, dual 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, FM radio, Heart rate sensor, Samsung DeX and a USB Type-C port with support for USB On The Go. The Samsung Galaxy S10 still retains the 3.5mm jack which comes with Dolby Atmos/AKG sound.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Price and Availability
This device is priced for a thousand dollars and hundred dollars $1100 for the based version with 8GB/256GB, slightly higher if you want more storage. Pre-order ha already begun and sales are expected to start soon.
