As a Developer you need to be prudent with your time! If you're just starting out learning, I strongly advice choosing Udemy and Udacity over others... it would save you a lot of wasted time. while Udemy course price are affordable ($9.99 - $19.99), Udacity Nano degree programs are quite expensive ($999 - $2000). With Udacity you would be learning at a sophisticated level from tech companies at the fore front of innovations, also privy to career guide and employment opportunities. Udacity also offer some scholarship programs which you can lookout for. Another program that I feel in my opinion is close to Udacity in terms of Certification is Microsoft's Web Professional Program offered on EdX. Unlike the Udacity Nano Degree Program, Microsoft's program offer a series of Dev courses on EdX which are free to access. each course certification cost $99 while the full Program Certification cost $1500. I could go into more specifications about the pros and cons of each platform but I would rather keep my comment this much precise Also before you make your decision, make time to read this book: (I passionately advice you do not skip these book, make it your compass) Front-End Master HandBook https://github.com/FrontendMasters/front-end-handbook-2018 After reading this book, should you decide Udemy is the way to go and I think you should if you're considering your expenses. Make Udemy your advanced YouTube. A little heads up though! take time to sift through course curriculums to see what exactly you would be getting out of a course before paying... believe me I've got burnt a few times... some tutors would try to teach you fundamentals of most aspect of web-engineering without going too deep.
