A Microfinance Bank in Ondo is seeking competent candidates to fill the following roles.

ROLE: BANK MANAGER

[b]LOCATION: ONDO

The branch manager shall be responsible for all of the functions of a branch office and these include but not limited to; maintaining a sufficient branch staff plan; approving loans and developing strategies to grow savings and quality loan portfolios; building a rapport with the community in order to attract business and assisting customers with account problems; Maintaining an effective branch budget and ensure that the branch is in compliance with the bank policies and procedures.A branch manager shall also be responsible for making sure that the branch's goals and objectives are met in a timely fashion and efficient delivery of all services.

Qualifications
HND/Bachelor's degree in Business Admin or related fields


5 years of relevant experience, 3 years in branch management in a financial institution (microfinance institution), with exposure to lending practices are most desired.
Professional certification such CIBN, CILRM will be an added advantage.
Strong managerial skills and experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

ROLE: OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Banking Operations Manager shall be responsible for supporting the Business /front-end function by providing oversight for general back-office banking operations for the institution. The Banking Operations Manager will be responsible for establishing the Banking Services function, procedures, and controls to deliver bank’s financial services in a way that is risk-reducing, efficient & scalable, customer-service oriented, and in line with methodologies, delivery channels strategies, and overall business goals.

Qualifications and Experience
First Degree or HND in Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other relevant field.
At least 5 years in banking/finance/microfinance, with at least four years in back office or operational roles; experience of two years or more in a senior management role at the regional or head office level strongly preferred.
Proficient in MS-Office Suite (especially Excel); experienced with Core Banking Systems and good understanding of Information System issues and the role of IS in banking operations;Project management qualifications (e.g. PMP) are an advantage.
Knowledge of process analysis and mapping is an advantage;
Fluency in English is required

ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Business Development Manager shall be responsible for facilitating delivery of the bank’s strategic plan by ensuring that business plans are fully aligned and implemented.He/she shall conduct research & development activities, identify opportunities to develop new business lines and contribute to the development of the bank's growth via the development and implementation of new and existing credit and deposit products that maximize these opportunities.He/she shall provide the necessary support to the Network with ensuring that products adequately answer the target market needs, that the processes and procedures are adequate and efficient at all times that the staff is adequately trained to achieve its targets and deliver quality.To achieve its goals, he/she must have constant feedback both from market, from the Network and from other departments.

Minimum Academic Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline; Professional certification or Master’s degree highly desirable.
7-10 years of experience in business development including strategy formulation and implementation, new business development and implementation, product (credit and deposit) design and marketing communications.
Value Chain Analysis experience is required
