Hi guys and gurls, i hope u are all doing fine. Majority of ur discussions here, of late, have bordered on issue of choice of accomodation- within campus or off campus(town). Bringing the pecularities of OAU to fore, 80% of her total students of over 30,000 live within campus and/or hostel. Over 95% of Part 1 students live within campus. As a part 1 student, u cannot afford but to live within campus. As i have noticed, most of u here are either in arts, social sci or law. So it means u are going to do EGL 101. This course is often done in Ajose LT at 7:00am. Ajose LT is a 750-capacity lecture theatre. Be aware also that people taking the course are well over 1000. So u are likely to see peeps waking up as early as 4:00am in a bid to secure a space. The same thing for those who will do CHM 101. U may have luck to have these courses shifted to the new 1000-capacity LT that is almost ready for use. Buses that shuttle between town and campus do not resume duty until around 8:00am. This perhaps explains why most of them are always late for lectures or even miss exams. Taking regard to these, i wonder what the fate of a part 1 student will be in the face of these challenges. Besides, the accomodation fee is just N3,090 and u will enjoy constant electricity and water supply far more than ur counterparts off campus. If u try this( living off campus) as a science, engineering student, ur sorrow will know no bound.

Aftunun guys, i sat 4 d OAU pume and i had 255 and 269 in my jamb, guys do i have a chance of my name been in d supp list 2 be released. Though one of my aunt who knows someone in d admission office confirmed 2 her dat my name is already on d list, but i don't rely on dat pls help me clarify dis my doubt.
