Many do not know him because he did not have much spell with the Eagles. I think he only played in qualifiers and never went to a major tournament with the Eagles. But the reason he is known, especially in PH is because of his generosity. Aaron is the reason many guys in PH eat everyday. He rented house for many, and many are under his payroll, especially aspiring footballers. You cannot go to Ph and say a bad word about Aaron, my brother, u go loss.
I know him personally, and he is the type of guy you wanna be friends with

Chinese League One club Sichuan Longfor have completed the signing of Super Eagles striker Aaron Samuel on undisclosed terms.

The 24-year-old joins Sichuan Longfor as a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Israeli club Beitar Jerusalem in December 2018.

In his first spell in China with Guangzhou R&F from 20147-2017, Samuel contributed to 22 goals (15 goals, 7 assists) in 35 appearances.

He later moved on loan to CSKA Moscow in February 2016 before joining the Russian club on a permanent deal in January 2017.
