National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), has opened it's portal for online registration. Prospective corps members who names has been uploaded in the senate list for 2019 Batch A mobilization can now registration.

Now, I want to show how you can save money by doing your own registration yourself, and maybe, register others as well to earn more. That is if you have a computer or smart phone.

You don't really need a scanner. Make use of your phone camera to capture your passport and get data on a good network. That's all you will need for now.

Haven't said that as introduction, let me dive into the main deal. Take time to read this simple step, and, when your done, you will be able to do your NYSC registration yourself.

Step 1 - Visit the NYSC Portal

You have a valid email address before heading to this point. When logon to the NYSC portal at portal.nysc.org.ng, click on Mobilization Batch A, 2019 link.

If its your first time to register to the portal, tap FRESH REGISTRATION. If not go for REVALIDATION (Revalidation means you have been deployed in a previous NYSC batch but did not show up in camp)

Step 2 - Create Your Account

Here an online form for initial account creation has to be completed by you before getting into the portal. What you do is provide your valid email address and answer the secret question for security.

The secret question will be used in retrieving your account password if you should forget it.

Now when your done filling the account creation form, hit the CONTINUE button. A confirmation link will be sent to your email address. Can't see the link? don't worry, check your spam box, it sometimes goes there.

Step 3 - Confirm Account Creation in Your Email

You need to login to your email to confirm your account creation. That is why i said you need a valid email, one you can access without stress.

Tap on the link sent to you by NYSC Portal. Fill out your details in the page that opens.

Select your institution, provide you school and JAMB registration number. If your name has been uploaded on the senate list and your details are correct, your name, class of degree will display. If your name does not show up, check the NYSC Senate list HERE.

Provide your desired password and phone number then hit the confirm tap.

Step 4 - Thumbprint and Upload Your Passport

This is where your finger print and passport photograph on off-white background is required. Your finger will be verified at camp before you enter, so don't thumbprint by proxy.

If you don't have a thumbprint device, I advice you go to a cyber cafe for this one. They charge for only the thumbprint will be less.

Step 5 - Fill Your Mobilization Form

Provide your personal details, your educational history and also choice your kit size.

Afterward, you need to verify your details be sure there is no error in the process.

In cases of incorrect name, u can apply for a correction online.

Submit your registration when you select your choice of state to be deployed. Then you are done with the NYSC registration.
