Like him or hate him, His Royal Punkness, Charly Boy, has made a mark in the entertainment industry. He is at it again with his talent hunt show, ‘Battle of the Gifted.’

The regional final of the show was held in Abuja last Sunday and indeed, it was filled with so much fun.

Apart from the battle of wits and skills among the aspiring music, comedy and dance stars, who rocked the available boxing ring, the big names in the entertainment industry including Kelly Hansome, Essence, Goldie, Durella, Bovi, Klint Da Drunk, Kenny Saint Brown, Jesse Jagz, Terry G, Basketmouth, I Go Dye, D‘Banj, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid brought down the roof with their scintillating performances.

As for the contestants, it was indeed a ‘Battle of the Gifted‘ as the raw talents, who scaled through the auditions slugged it out at the show.

MC Pepper, JSB and Citizz Nyborg were the three aspirants, who competed to be crowned as the best in the music field, while MC Walking Talking, The Minister and Dan The Drunk, battled in the comedy field.

The judges, made up of Tee Mac, Oritz Wilik, Yinka Davies and Collins Adeyemi, declared Ctizz Nyborg as the winner in the music category. He went home with N200,000.

Daniel Effiong aka Dan The Drunk and John Pearse Ononogbo aka Twista pocketed N150,000 each for winning in the comedy and dancing categories.

The winners, who plan to pay their tithe and put their career on course with their prize money, could not stomach their joy as they poured encomium on Charly Boy for his move to empower and develop the youths.
