@all, people tell diff stories and tales but i can tell u i wuz admitted into medicine without knowing even a fly dt 'll help me. I can say confidently dt ABU is one of d most accommodating skuls in 9ja. U'll neva see a larger percentage of non-indigenes in any other skul. Yoruba is spoken freely around. Forget any lies pple have told u and pray to God. He'll surely make a way.

No lies Marbell! I know some staff members and students overthere and the news They're giving about the admission process is not pleasing to the ear at all. We're talking about this year's admission process, it wasn't and it isn't not clear! Now, in out many schools in Nigeria will they admit candidates WHO HAD BELOW CUT OFF MARK. Imagine some ppl with averages of LESS THAN 180 being admitted while people with good averages of 260's were offered nothing! In most western and eastern states of Nigeria, they always have cut off marks in sets, maybe 3. One for merit, another for catchment areas and lastly for ELDS, if one hit the cut off, one's mind will be at rest but ABUZ own is different: one is always in suspense and in the dark. Engrkunle is the 7th best scorer in his department yet he wasn't admitted! What else do they want, 'there is so much words in Kobo's book' but I can't finish it. Count yourself lucky Marbell, if you are in our shoes, you'll probably understand better. Peace

@stevetboy, i'm not saying there's no irregularity, but it's even worse in other places. I wuz a student of unilorin till dis semester, so i know what i'm sayin. U might be 4rm d same state wiv some1, ur score may be higher than his, bt there are abt 3 pple wiv higher scores 4rm ur local govt & and he's d highest 4rm his local govt. They'll have to admit d other guy b4 considering u. There a lot of technicalities dt students don't understand. Just PRAY lyk i said. I didn't know anybody!
