PROCEDURE CIF FOR AGO DELIVERY (LAGOS SECURED ANCHORAGE AREA)

1. THE BUYER AND SELLER SIGNS SALES PURCHASE AGREEMENT (SPA) AND
LODGE IT WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE BANKS FOR FURTHER ACTION.

2. BUYER‘S BANK SWIFTS RWA TO SELLER‘S BANK ACCORDING TO SELLER‘S
PROVIDED VERBIAGE.

3. SELLER ISSUES A PARTIAL PROOF OF PRODUCT (PPOP) TO BUYER‘S BANK.

4. BUYER AFTER CONFIRMING PPOP WILL SWIFT DLC OR SBLC TO SELLER‘S
NOMINATED ACCOUNT.

5. SELLER ISSUES TWO PERCENT (2%) PERFORMANCE BOND TO BUYER’S BANK
TO ACTIVATE THE SBLC OR DLC AFTER CONFIRMATION OF THE INSTRUMENT.

6. SELLER LOADS VESSEL. THE LOADING WILL COMMENCE WITHIN 4 TO 14 DAYS DEPENDING ON SGS TIMELINE, IN LINE WITH THE DELIVERY SCHEDULE AS AGREED IN THE SALES AND PURCHASE AGREEMENT (SPA). AND ISSUE NOTICE OF READINESS (NOR) TO BUYER.

7. VESSEL ARRIVES LAGOS SAA WITH LOADED CARGO; Q AND Q IS CONDUCTED BY AN INDEPENDENT SURVEYOR ACCEPTABLE TO BOTH BUYER AND SELLER AT THE
LAGOS SAA.

8. AT THE RELEASE OF THE Q & Q REPORT, THE BUYER RELEASE PAYMENT, 100% OF THE TOTAL COST OF THE CARGO BY SWIFT TRANSFER ON MT103.

9. PUMP OUT TO BUYER’S DAUGHTER VESSELS BEGINS FOR ONWARD DELIVERY TO BUYER’S STORAGE FACILITY AT PORT OF DISCHARGE AND SELLER HANDS OVER goodTO BUYER ORIGINAL COPIES OF THE TRANSACTION AND SHIPPING DOCUMENTS AMONG WHICH INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

* COPY OF OCEAN BILL OF LADING
* COPY OF CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY AND QUANTITY
* COPY OF CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN.
* SIGNED COMMERCIAL INVOICE
* CERTIFICATE OF CLEANESS IN ONE (1) COPY.
* HULLAGE REPORT IN ONE (1) COPY.
* MASTER´S SIGNED RECEIPT OF SAMPLES IN ONE (1) COPY FOR EACH SAMPLE OR SET OF SAMPLES TAKEN PER SHIPMENT.

10. THE TRANSACTION IS ROUNDED OFF.
