A Nurse has been arrested for selling a newborn baby for N350,000 after lying to the new mom that she had a stillborn in Lagos.

The incident happened at Trinity Clinic, along Meiran Rd, Ifako-Ijaiye and the girl was sold to a lady residing in Ajah.

The nurse was said to have told the parents that she had already helped them bury the child, but trouble started as a member of the parents’ family insisted on seeing the corpse.

Policemen were later involved and during interrogation, the suspect confessed to selling the baby and took them to the buyer’s house, yesterday, where the girl was retrieved. The culprits have since been detained at the Meiran police station.

Some nurses are evil. This is clear child trafficking and selling. They both nurse and baby buyer should rot in jail eating watery beans all their life.

Why not adopt instead of buying innocent babies? I still don't understand why people buy babies as there are many children seeking loving parents in orphanages.

It seems pregnant women should now go to hospital for children delivery with her entire family so that everyone will keep watch.

You should have been wondered how long she has been in the business and how many baby she has sold successfully. Child Traffikers and baby sellers don't need to have any problem to motivate them, neither do they have to be poor for doing what they are doing
