A case of violence has been reported on social media as a school teacher viciously flogged a pupil to a point where then pupil could barely walk.. sad.
A Kenyan Facebook user, who shared the story online wrote ;

“What Mr. THUO from NJENGA KARUME PRIMARY School in Kiambaa constituency did to an 11 years old pupil for failing his subject. The pupil can barely walk. I thought corporal punishment was banned?

Teachers are supposed to be nicest category of people.Teaching is a duty that is supposed to be enjoyed not endured.Every teacher should be proud that he/she is imparting knowledge in their wards and as such carrying out their duty with diligence and commitment.
But most teachers nowadays treat their pupils with hostility that you will think they were forced to do the teaching.That is why a teacher will get easily provoked by his pupil and mete out this unwarranted punishment that is incongruous with the wrongdoing of the pupil in question.

I guess it’s a free school, I can’t be paying a fortune on a child and then one frustrated teacher that is owing house rent would come and unleash Anger/wrath on my child, look at the boy’s leg naw.
Only a demented fellow would do this to an Eleven year old regardless of what he did! No matter how little the school fees may be no child deserves this kinda whooping

They should take success there maybe
