The Holy Stairs Jesus 'climbed before being sentenced to crucifixion', has been unveiled after 300 years as pilgrims turned up to see marble steps 'stained with Christ's blood'. The Scala Sancta, or Holy Staircase had been encased in protective maple wood since 1723 in a bid to protect the steps from years of use. It was learnt that the marble was covered some 300 years ago on the orders of Pope Innocent XIII, amid fears it was getting worn down by the hands and knees of worshipers, who caused a dip in the stone of 15cm in some parts. 

However 300 years after, the Holy Stairs Jesus 'climbed before being sentenced to crucifixion' has been unveiled with three small bronze crosses embedded in the marble.The 28 steps were believed to be part of Pontius Pilate's palace in Jerusalem and were moved to Rome in the fourth century AD by Helena, mother of Emperor Constantine, who made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire. Now, after a year-long restoration, the staircase has been opened to pilgrims. It will stay open to the public for 60 days, covering the Easter period, ending on June 9.

So because they keep relics they one way or another profit from, that is a sign to u that the church was founded by Christ himself? You got jokes.
You do realise that keeping the relics is just another way to have control over people who venerate those relics, right?
Those relics are meaningless nonsense. Just tools for the control of moronic religious minds. Your priests know it. That's why they still end up fvcking alter-boys after kissing those staircases.

This is of no use to Christians. We already have the blood of Jesus. We have no use for the purported stairs he climbed.
