Foods contain calories, and calories are the body’s source of energy.

Research has shown that when we eat foods with calories content that are higher than what is required by the body, the body takes what it needs and stores the rest as pure fat.

And when we eat foods whose calories contents are lower than is required, the body is forced to convert the stored excess fat into energy. Hence, promoting fat loss

But most common foods are heavily packed with calories. Foods like garri, bread, white rice, milk, yam etc. they contain between 1000kcal to 1500kcal of calories.
Eating any of such foods up to two times in a day will most likely supply excess calories to the body. Above the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended daily calories limit of 2000kcal for women and 2500 for men
