t is true that players rarely wish that their opponents played exceptional football, but Luiz has complained this time around about how poorly Burnley played yesterday. The Chelsea back called their strategy “anti-football”.

It may be understood if the Burnley team may not share the same opinion as their opponents about their game given the table standings. Chelsea happen to be in a delicate position just above Arsenal in the table with one game ahead. This means they could lose their volatile stand should Arsenal win their next game.

The game between both teams ended 2—2, which clearly frustrated Maurizio Sarri’s side. Chelsea desperately sought to slot in a winner through the last minutes of the game, but to no avail as Burnley’s defence became a rock by the sea. Matters, in fact, got worse when Sarri himself was sent to the stands when he vented out his incubated frustration over Burnley’s “delay” strategy. Later Antonio Rudiger was engaged in an argument with Burnley’s staff member.

There is no doubt that Burnley had come to Chelsea with just one thing in mind and that was to not play football. They wasted so much time in the match and bored the crowd with their tactics. I don't blame them with the squd they have. David Luiz is right to say those things.
