Activist and the lead campaigner of #EndSARS, Segun Awosanya, has called on Nigerians not to give into the criminality and brutality of the men of Nigeria Police Force.

The #EndSARS campaign said this in a series of tweets on his official twitter handle, stating emphatically that police officers have no right in demanding to check the phones of any citizen.

He said, “The moment you handover your phone to corrupt @PoliceNG officers, you’ve consented to being robbed at gun point. Whatever they get off you is not just a loss to you but a dip in the decadence of the culture of impunity. Your consent endangers the lives of others.”

“The fact that they succeed with you will make them confident to push others to consent even at the risk of extrajudicial killings. The born slaves claiming they have nothing to hide by nihilistically justifying a gross human right abuse are part of the problem. This is unlawful.”

” Our women are not safe and our youth are in the crosshairs Of murderous emasculated Armed men running amok. Is this how we will continue watching them until they decimate the future of Nigeria? How can the IGP Sit easy through these heinous crimes by @PoliceNG?!”
