Department of Petroleum Resources(DPR) is the government agency saddled with the responsibility to issue site approval after the fire service and police have initially indicated in writing that such location will not hinder vehicular movement and fire fighting in case of emergency.

It could be that this person may have gotten this approval long before residential building started springing up within the location else LPG is not supposed to be sited in residential areas as it were. You can visit DPR office to make your complains. Cheer!

If you are in Lagos, report to the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency or write a petition addressed to the Commisioner for Environment and take it there personally.

The way they would handle the guy ehn, even you would pity him.

This is so wrong. Please do all you can, from local government, to lawyer, do anything you can to stop him.
