The President Donald Trump is currently on a three-day State visit in the UK. He will enjoy the protection of state-of-the-art security equipment and staff, in addition to his own heavily armoured car – the “Beast”, unveiled in September, 2018.

The “Beast” actually refers to two identical highly armoured Cadillac One limousines built by GM Motors, who won the contract of $15,800,000 (now worth NGN5.7 Billion) to build them in 2014. The Beast accompanies the President of the United States on trips, especially foreign trips.

Security: The car is a tank on wheels that have emergency equipment, steel plating, run flat tires, night vision windscreen, weapons and containers of the President's blood type, tear gas launchers, withstand bomb and grenade attacks, and contain bullet and blast proof fuel tanks.

The body of the car is a mixture of steel, ceramics and other metals. The window has 5 layers of reinforced glass, Satellite phones to communicate with the Vice President and Pentagon in case of emergency. The full security features of this car is classified.

Engine: Powering this 6.2tons (or 6200kgs) and 18ft long limousine, is a 6.6L V8 Cadillac motor, which can teach a top speed of 60mph.


For Trump’s visit, an eight-foot-high temporary steel mesh fence has been placed on the road between Winfield House (the residence of the US High Commission to the UK and Trump’s residence during his stay in the UK) and London’s Central Mosque. Recall that the UK is battling with a lot, including terrorism.
Donald Trump placed travel ban on select Islamic countries, Stringent Immigration policies, and other “unpopular” policies, which has sparked condemnations in the USA and elsewhere.

A lot of protesters have since hit the streets of London to protest against Trump.

Nobody is saying buhari should not buy better car, he should enjoy all the pecks of his office and at the same time make Nigeria safe. He can't be enjoying his bullets n bomb prove casillacs while the rest of the country made vulnerable by his willy-nilly tacit support for murderous herdsmen. Our boys r dieing in bornu in a reckless manner without care n protection. All the money earmarked for advanced technological weapons r being diverted. There r lots of coverups on de side of our top brass in de army on the real situations. We hv a man who is not moved in any way in charge of affairs. So bad.
