What are you talking about, these guys chased SARS off the road with gun shots, SARS ran and immediately notified the Army, army mobilized fully equipped, these guys engaged the army face to face on the tarmac, Army backed out when the pressure was beyond what they expected and even left a hilux truck behind. The guys drove a military hilux away.. It took weeks before Army was able to recover the hilux and they even had to go for the recovery with a masquerade (armoured tank).

To even think aloud, how many was the number of the so called vigilante to be able to capture a whole 12 notorious kidnappers? Were they in a coaster bus and up to 20 vigilante?

You know nothing about OSPAC, it isn't just a vigilante group, it's much more than what you think, this was the same group that attacked Don waney, he had to escape to Enugu and they still trailed him to Enugu and killed him. Forget about what you read in the media, your sars do call for this group's assistance when the matter gets worse.

And funny enough rivers state police have not apprehended any of this boys since this crime started, one will be wondering if is not better to replace Nigeria police with local vigilantes. Wike please oooo don't grant them anmensty because that is the only thing u are good at doing.

Really? I'm not doubting the efficacy of their operations, but I sure know their activities must be binded by rules of engagements and programmed to work with military under scope of surveillance and intelligence gathering operation. On no account. I repeat, on no account would any authority signed or approve of a civilian engaging armed bandits operating with heavy fire arms like GPMG, digital snipper riffle, FM and some of those deadly riffles.

The fear of collateral damage to the society won't let military give such go ahead. The highest they can do is to set out surveillance and intelligence gathering contract for the supposed civilian security and mandate them to work with OPDS (Operation Delta Safe) which is also an arm of military intelligence operation..

U will never see military guys holding GPMG on operation irrespective of severity, the objective is to dislodge, apprehend and hand over to police or civil defence as prescribed by code of conduct. But you see the guys they are coming after holding GPMG and digital snipper rifles without any law sanctioning them.. And to think of it, just one GPMG riffle os enough to overpower 5 to 6 soldiers holding those AK49 and those light fire arms..

U see.. This safety and security struggle is more complicated than we think.. May God help our government and all security forces.
