Verdis, officially the Free Republic of Verdis is a new self-proclaimed state claiming a pocket of disputed land between Serbia and Croatia. It was founded on the 30th May 2019 by its founder, Daniel Jackson.

The country is dedicated to establishing itself to be as green as possible, along with it also being the most modern state in the world. It states that it wants to set itself as a role model for future and present nations to follow in once established. Verdisians claim that their country is a legitimate and serious state, and are constantly aiming for recognition from the international community, including the European Union, and the United Nations.

The Free Republic of Verdis has many infrastructural plans for establishing the first eco-friendly settlement on the land claim, including vertical forests and much more. Although many of these plans are incredibly ambitious, the Free Republic of Verdis believes that it could work if enough funding is made to properly establish this project. Verdis plans to find money through crowdfunding, business opportunities, business/individual investments and more.
