He said they can derail the train. Check the meaning of derailment.

Buh can't the bandits still do their operation even though it's a train ride
Those weak trains that look like grinding machine
It's not possible. I'm in Kaduna road operation right now. The situation is now better.. Each couch has two Security each. My challenge now is that the poor hardly access it

Hmm interesting perspective, but i wont doubt it cause if Government is sincere, they should be able to secure that stretch of road from bandits but they turn a blind eye to it

gbosaa:

There is no insecurity. It’s a plan from some evil mastermind to force people into the trains. If you are scared of driving through that route, you’d find an alternative to reach your destination.

Trains must generate revenue for the government and make the stakeholders look good. The project will be a failure if the masses don’t use it.

All it takes is just one dare devil stunt from the kidnapping herdsmen. Take the train hostage, ask the train driver to stop in a lonely and bushy path close to their hideout and whisk some unfortunate passengers away. It's not a speed train, also they can cause the train to derail, in that pandemonium, they come out and whisk some unfortunate passengers away. It's just time that it will take.

Government should tackle the menace and not run away from it in a train

I don't want to think that the kidnappings is a plot to get people patronize the alternative train medium

You're wrong on this. The kidnappers are using kidnapping to raise funds for pursing a greater cause. I pity this country, we're not at all prepared for what's going to hit us

Leave dat mugu abeg. Benin Lagos express road is now one of d most dangerous road to ply due to kidnappers who dress in police uniform/army camouflage to hijack their victims. In d space of two weeks now, 3 popular legit hustlers I know have been kidnapped & d least ransom paid by d recent victim (horticulturist) yesterday was #5millionaire with severe beating & cut all over his body.

According to him, d kidnappers told him they use the funds to acquire more weapons & dat nothing any body can do to stop them.

What shocked d victim more is d boldness & massive magazines those kidnappers have in their possession. Their weapons are top notch & he still wonders how those guys import them into d country.

They know d forest very well more than d locals with d world most dangerous weapons in their possession & that killing them wouldn't detest them. They recruit & train boys every day just like the boko haram guys.

Truth is dat this thing is more than just kidnapping. They started by displacing farmers & sacking local communities & instigated fears & then gradually now occupying our bushes & forest.

Kidnapping is just one of d avenue to raise more billions to finance their deadly future plans.

If they start kidnapping ministers, senators, governors & their children you will see dis criminals wiped out in 24hours by d same evil government dat kept mute & seems handicapped.

Nigeria is in deep poo.
