The Kaduna-Abuja Train Station breaks down again leaving passengers stranded. This time it breaks down in the middle of the bush.
Recall that the train service broke down not long ago which made minister of transportation Rotimi Ameachi to Apologise to Nigerians for the inconveniences.

It however didn't take long for it to repeat itself leaving the passengers stranded in the middle of the bush. The passengers were seen protesting the incident inside the train. The train attendant was seen trying to calm the already pissed passengers who questioned the rationale for moving a faulty train just to risk their livess

Passengers stranded in bush as Kaduna/Abuja train breaks down

Passengers were on Friday evening stranded for hours in the bush, as the Kaduna-Abuja train broke down.

A video circulated on social media showed passengers taking fresh air outside the train, while the faulty train was been attended to.

The Nation gathered that the two hours journey to Abuja took more than four hours to be completed.

In the video, a passenger (name unknown) said, the train stopped for two hours at an unknown location and that forced most passengers to get off for fresh air.”

When contacted to confirm the incident through phone, the Manager of Rigasa Station, Aminu Ibrahim said, the incident was a mere mechanical fault, which is normal for any engine.

He however said that the fault had since been fixed and the train has since resumed it normal schedule.

According to him, “what happened is a normal thing, it was a mechanical fault. As you know, mechanical fault is normal for any engine. But, it has since been fixed and we have since resumed our normal operation. In fact, we did all our schedules today.”

It is very sad to see things like this happening. We know that the management of these things can't be 100% in management but hello, we should be prepared for situations like this. That spot is a very dangerous spot for kidnapers if I m not mistaken and it could harm the passengers.

Why move the train when you know the train is faulty?

The passengers are lucky it was a train moving on the ground and not an aeroplane. Trust anything certified fit for use by the Nigerian government at your own peril.

Honestly it is very sad that things like that happened. They had to do the right thing when the passengers called them to order. It is shameful honestly

Typical NIgeria mentality. Lack of maintenance and I don't care attitude.
We always have this "make we manage am" Attitude. At the end, cost of repair will now be greater.

Wicked souls! They refused to construct a single rail in the east, they constructed in the north but gave them substandard trains. How wicked can our leaders be. Amaechi, stop apologizing and do something.

But these trains are better than the ones used in London according to our resident zombies.

Its must be a sabotage, the end SARS protester's must have tempered with the engine.

All the good work and substandard projects of the administration is been destroyed by IPOB.

Now I see,its PDP,they don't like our party at all.

The blame game goes on and on.
