Lokoja being the first capital of Nigeria......Did you just Shrug? You never knew this? Ok, let me educate you for a minute.
The First Governor-General of Nigeria , Lord Frederick Lugard ruled from lokoja after the Southern and Northern protectorate were amalgamated to from one Nigeria.
