You speak some truth here; there still yet thousands of middle-roaders who married agemates/classmates with promising futures but who when these mates finally made it financially, now 'discovered'/decided that the wives of their youth who struggled with them through thick and thin were no more worthy/beautiful and started going after other women. However these principled ladies hold up their heads with dignity and looking back, will still never have married an old man for money despite coming from struggling homes. You'll discover that the children of such women bless them daily and usually ensure that their mothers enjoy their old age.

There are also a lot of female achievers today whose present and (former) husbands are now regretting how they maltreated them early in their marriages!
