Three people were trapped in a distressed one-story building when the structure collapsed early in this morning at 35, Adesanya Street, Mafoluku-Oshodi.

The prompt intervention of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency ensured that the victims were rescued alive and taken to the hospital.

The distressed building has been pulled down by LASEMA.

I just don't understand why someone will overlook safety and quality when it comes to building a house you intend to live in or turn to a money bringer by renting it out. I know of a mud house that has stood gidigba since when I was a kid ,made entirely of mud but plastered with cement. What is worth doing is worth doing well. No be by force to build house.
Even the first story building in Nigeria still dey stand gidigba.

In Samuel L. Jackson's voice, "that's the beauty of that mother Bleep, life."

When the owner of that house was building it, perhaps some of his mates were still looking for how to get the day's meal. Some might have even committed suicide, looking at the "success" of their contemporary.

Looking back now!
