Edit: Oh man, those B58's can pull. I think they get to 600HP with just a tune, intake, and exhaust.

Sure did. Such a great platform for tuning; seems to make even more power then the N54 without the reliability issues.
Not sure why anyone would want to by an M2/M3/M3 when they can get the 40i versisons for cheaper and make even more power. Doesn't help that the B58 cars sound even better than the M cars imo.

Sadly those cars are still pricey as hell.

there’s absolutely no reason to buy an M3/4 right now. The B58 will dominate, especially since its the same engine in the supra. They’re very expensive but we’ll wait for crashed ones . I wanted my next car to be Q60 RS, now i’m thinking 240i

from a tuners perspective pretty much everything he complained about can be fixed with a couple of bolt ons. Infiniti has always been about value for money compared to germans. When the time comes, the one i get a good deal on is the one i’m getting.

You're not going to fix a poor chassis and terrible steering with bolt ons, chief. Power has never been the problem with those cars.

For a car maker that made the 1st generation G35, it tells a lot to worry about their future.

Very sad indeed. The FM platform was a pretty fuckin good platform when it debuted in 2003 but it's 17 years old now and isn't competitive anymore.

The Q60 just seems to have no identity at all, which is a shame. If you want a comfortable cruiser, you're better off with something like an E53 or S5, by far. If you want a sports car, both the new 2020 Supra and the Camaro SS absolutely destroy it.

Shame. Nissan and Infiniti have lost their way. Peaked with the G37 and FX50.

It's such a stunning car too. I saw one in Lagos a few months ago, so good-looking.

The point is, compared to the cars it goes against, it's considerably worse. I'll advice you, before you buy a Q60 RS, at least look at a 2016+ Camaro or Cadillac CTS V-Sport. GM's Alpha platform is up there with what BMW and Alfa Romeo have.

There's a reason why the Camaro SS craps on anything under 50k, both on track and street.

Or at least look at an older Audi S5. That supercharged 3.0 is better than the 3.0 on the Q60, both for sound and power delivery. Much better transmission, too.

I think I read a comment (somewhere) that mellinium's cars are not stock, right from when he had a Camry v6 and now Infiniti.

That makes sense. Probably full bolt-ons, in which case he's likely making about 330 HP to the wheels.

Makes the E Class more impressive, actually. It's making less WHP (the W212 platform has about 20% drivetrain loss) and is heavier.

That 5.5l is a mid to high 13s car...it should do well against a stock g37...

Nah. Low 13s, and around 4.8 to 60.

In Coupe form, it will even do 13.0 flat stock.

Surprisingly, the G 35/37 coupes are slower than the sedan due to the massive weights of the coupes. Thanks coupes are heavier than its sedan counterparts due to the extra reinforcement on the pillarless door and roof and floor.

Yep. Not much different, though. Usually just about 0.2s slower to 60mph.

The M272 and M273 aren't great for tuning, unless you're willing to spend up to $8k+ for a Stage 2 Kleeman tune (M273). Most tunes won't add up to 20/20 hp/tq to the M272. Even with that, a stock G37 still takes it easily.

The M276 is much better. M278 even more.
