I'm very sure those illegal schools will have students. Most of their students will surely be those candidate that JAMB has jammed severally.
Instead for them to calm down and prepare harder they won't, they all want to be an undergraduate at all cost hence they fall into the hands of these scammers

The real joke in this release is that the semi illiterates at NUC have the nerve to declare University of London External programs, the foremost and oldest long distance program in the world illegal. I will pick UoL external over the best Nigerian university.

‘London External Studies UK’ is not the same as University of London International Programmes, which is the central body that manages external studies for UoL with some of the best colleges in the world, including Birbeck, LSE, King’s College London, SOAS and University College London.
Hope this clarifies things.
I don’t want to believe that NUC’s management are that dumb.

The foremost university education regulatory agency in Nigeria, the NUC recently released a list of about 60 institutions in the country considered as illegal. The NUC said the list isn't even exhaustive and warned the general public about patronising such institutions.

It warns that "Certificates obtained from these sources will not be recognised for the purpose of NYSC, employment or further studies".

Good move, don't you think? Public awareness is key in the fight against the menace of these mushroom universities. It will save many from the financial and psychological trauma resulting from falling victims of this parasitic institutions.

Ans you really think the University of London External programs on this list is really affiliated to the University of London in the UK. You don't know their own London here is in one place in Onitsha or Enugu lol.

The ministry can still override the nuc. License is different from accreditation. Nuc is just a MDA under the ministry.

Bro, their working hard isn't the only problem.
Nigeria has many many schools but because of our conditions it now university or I die.
what happens to many of our poly, monotechs, college etc.
No one wants to go because they feel if you haven't gone to a university you haven't got a cert.
Because of this, university also made thing difficult to slice of too much amount of applicants.
