Simplyleo:77% is going to the oil sector. That is a usual constant in every govt. Nothing special. Though more used to go to agricultural or manufacturing sector before, but it has shrunk under buhari. |

It wouldn't be a bad idea to know the projected revenue these investments will add to the economy and how many Nigerians will be lifted up from poverty as direct impact of these investments. Announcing of investments is good but informing the public again on what those investments later generated and the impact it had on both the economy and it's people is very necessary. |

Headline says $15bn investment, body of the writeup says proposed investment, if you read further down it also says 67% decline when compared to previous the previous year. Meanwhile some people were happy about the news and congratulating the APC government 3 Likes |

The investments are mainly in the oil and gas sector. Unfortunately this will always be the case. We need more investments in other sectors to stimulate growth and provide jobs. Simplyleo: |

Simplyleo: Are You aware that you haven't added any value to the subject in discuss with any meaningful contribution but have only succeeded in sowing a seed of discord and derailment of the thread with such tribal and bigoted biles you have infused into the subject? Is the subject in discuss too difficult for you to stay on topic and add more value to it or are those comments from you also part of the investments that where made? Simplyleo: INVESTMENT PROPOSAL. Does that sound like Naira and Dollar to you ? In business, over 80% of proposals never get executed. The CBN and the commercial banks have a Foreign Currency transfer window. Let us pretend that we don't know where they can pick exact figures of Foreign Direct Investments into the Nigerian Economy. 1 Like |
