I'm selling the phone not because I've stopped liking it or it giving me issues but just a crazy reason of feel. I've used OnePlus for over three years. I felt I should try other brands when I wanted to upgrade to a new phone but I now find myself missing the OnePlus feel.

Exactly. I just don't know why some people still get deceived by camera megapixel. Most of these high megapixel phones are just gimmicks, in reality they actually shoot at lower megapixel. Why do u think most flagship phones come with 12mp and shoot better pictures that mid rangers that come with 48mp. The new Galaxy note 9 has a 12mp main shooter and takes far better pictures than the Galaxy A70 with 32mp. iPhone xs Max has a 12mp main shooter and still one of the best camera phones out there, better than all those phones with 32 or 48mp. I use a Galaxy A70 with 32mp but in reality that thing shoots at 8mp by default and no difference when u switch to 32mp. I can't believe some people still get deceived by the whole megapixel on mobile phones.

What's the point of having 41mp with a tiny sensor that cannot let in more lights? The end result is poor image. This is why dedicated cameras have large sensors and a 12mp camera would shoot better image than a smartphone with 41mp. Smartphones are very small so not enough room to fit in large sensors to match the megapixels. The only true last large megapixel smartphone is the Nokia Lumia 1020 and we can alls see how large and cluncky that camera is. Not ideal for the modern smartphone where people complain even when there's just a little camera budge.

It's just to deceive people that think megapixel is everything. Also u notice mose of these phones with high megapixels are mid-range phones. Those companies can't fit in a good sensor and software into the camera, either they don't know how to or they just trying to cust cost. So what they do is bump up the megapixel with a shitty sensor that can't let enough light in to make the best use of the megapixel. At the end u get a high megapixel phone with shitty images. The sweet spot for mobile phones at the moment is 12 and 16mp.

If I'm a phone maker and can't get the right combo to produce good images with 12mp, I would just make my phone 32 or 41mp and ignorant ones would say wow, so many megapixels not knowing the image quality is not even good enough. I mean what's the point of using 32mp with /f2.0 when others are using 12mp with /f1.5 with ois and HDR

Xiaomi Nigeria on all it social media handles are yet to post about their high-end phones in Nigeria. They only run adverts of the low-end and midrange phones. Same across the board with other quality brands like OPPO, VIVO, OnePlus, Google Pixel,LG, Hauwei.. these ones don't even have presence in Nigeria yet.
So local shops who are after quick sales and returns would rather stock an high-end Samsung or iphone.

Some of us who know the quality of these less popular brands order them online(AliExpress, eBay, Amazon). There are few dealers though who stock very minute quantity and sell on jiji and co.
