was never a literature student all thru my skool yrs; never seriously started writing poems until my IT yr -- btw 2nd & 3rd yr in the polyteknic -- the poetic side of me emerged as a result of a heartbreak & way too much time spent in a high-rise overlooking the Atlantic on Marina.

when & how did u discover ur flair for writing poems & when d u write ur 1st full poem (if u can still remember)?

I've always written poems basically about my puppylove years when I was still much younger. However, when I was in 200L and my sis just joined me in UNIBEN, studying theatre arts, I just borrowed this book on poetry from her and it changed my life forever.

what do you like to write about & where do you like to write ?

i mostly get my inspiration from lines i see on song titles, lyrics, books etc. and i can write just about anywhere - i remember travelling from Ago-iwoye to Lagos in a bus and just scribbling down stuff in my "rhyme book" all thru the trip !

Hey bro, promised to check out your works , sorry i havent, but let me answer this quick question of yours,

I have been writing since i was a kid as a matter of fact i think it was something i was born with,
i play with words so easily,
believe me there are some words i hear or see for the first time and i just comprehend their meanings, by sheer guessing,
dont know why that happens, doesnt always happen though, this is a 2 out of 5, occurrence.

When i was in sec sch.(boarding house) i had this book in which i scribbled and one day after some melancholic matters,
i just threw the whole book into a bucket o' water,
Some peeps tell me i shoulda studied literature or shumtin, but it doesnt even prick me as a thot.
Anyways before i go on sermonizing, i think you'd find that we all have some elements of literature in us, how and when we express those elements is another matter.
