Contrary to insinuations in some quarters, Ondo State Government through the Panel of Inquiry into the lands dispute between the peoples of Araromi Araromi obu and Ikale (Ago Alaye) has promised to deliver justice in line with its terms of reference by being fair to all concerns.

The Chairman of the panel Tunde Atere gave the commitment during a courtesy call on the Paramount ruler of the Ikales, Oba George Faduyile, the Abodi of ikale land in his palace at ikoya.

The interface provided the Panel a veritable opportunity to feel the impulse of the people of ikale through their Obas and leaders of thoughts regarding the impasse between then and their immediate neighbour the people of Araromi obu recently which led to lost of lives and destruction of both public and private properties.

Barr Atere told his audience that the avoidable crises was very unfortunate for a people who were once living peacefully together and have inter married underscored the importance of peaceful environment for development to thrive.

The Chairman who was pleased with the peaceful disposition of the Ikale elites and their people towards the panel in spite of their initial misgivings called on them to advantage of the panel public hearing in Akure to come and talk to their memoranda.

He also gave those with memoranda but have not submitted them the window to do as soon as possible before the panel commence public sitting.

The Secretary to the Panel and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Boluwaduro Kunle Sanni told the people that government was very concerns about the turn of event between the two once peaceful neighbours hence it set up the panel to look into the issues with view to amicably resolved it.
