Can you imagine ?

This nonsense should be placed on hold. Ronaldo's goal last week was cancelled because his head was a little bit offside from his body .

Now we are going to get a robotic lineman who would trace the if the hair on your arm is offside or not.
and that how they cut my away win and over 1

All the latest changes FIFA have been introducing is making football to be boring. Football is a game not a war so we don't need all these sophistications.

Sometimes the minor error makes the game to be more entertaining especially when it goes against your opponents in viewing center. Which may lead to argument. We use the error to mock our opponents and they use it as an excuse for their lost. That's where the fun is.

Please FIFA should kill the next must important thing after beer that most Nigerian men use as an immunity against women and government troubles.

you make sense............ cool

LOLZ... THEY SHOULD ALSO EXTEND ROBOTS TO REPLACE FOOTBALLERS..... WHAT A WONDERFUL GAME IT WOULD THEN BE: NO MORE ARGUMENTS ABOUT MESSI OR RONALDO BEING THE BEST PLAYER... AND FUTURE WORLD CUPS WOULD THEN BE WON EITHER BY CHINA, JAPAN OR USA... DEPENDING ON WHO CAN FIELD THE FASTEST ROBOTS.

These guys wan scatter football with too many rules. If I become FIFA president, first thing na to abolish that offside rule. To me it makes defenders lazy and demoralizes attackers.

FIFA are probing the possibility of replacing linesmen with robots anytime soon, MySportDab reports.

According to The Mirror, football's international governing body have set up a new department to discover whether technology could be used further in football.

The linesman's role has been identified as a potential area in which technology could come into use.

If the findings of the new department are favourable, football could see a three-man on-field officiating party reduced to just one.

An insider confirmed: “FIFA already have a department set upresearchinginto these exact areas.

“Will they replace referee assistants completely with cameras and computers ruling offsides and throw-ins? It could happen one day.”

Since its introduction into Premier League football at thestartof the 2019-20 season, VAR has stirred debate among fans and pundits alike.

. VAR is a good development. Penalty is a penalty while stimulation is stimulation.... Additionally with VAR no hide and seek or abracadabra in soccer again.

To me, this is needless. Linesmen hardly commit blunders unlike the ref. Football will become too robotic and automated.

I think this FIFA president infantino is trying too hard to imprint his legacy on football, something he will be remembered for.

They are rather called assistant referee. Its a good one though, after all they as their name implies they were suppose to complement the ref, but most times they rarely see actions properly, a very good example is Victor Ikpeba penalty goal, at the AFCON final of Ghana-Nig. 2000, between Nig. & Cameroun, that the assistant referee could not see despite being close to the goal post what then is their job with the introduction of VAR.

Those abracadabras are the spices of the game. After each match, we argue about what should have happened and what shouldn't have. That's the fun there's to the game. But now... It's bleeped!!
