Infantino wants to render linesmen jobless. From robots the gesture would be extended to the referees then football will be a game of robots. cheesycheesycheesy

You guys should chill, it says FIFA to replace linesmen with Var and robot. Meaning instead of humans standing under sun, they will be replaced by robot to detect offsides and VAR to confirm if its valid or not. What you folks should ask is if FIFA will create a new VAR for offsides. If yes that means linesmen no longer need to stand under sun or rain but instead chill under AC and let the robots do the detecting of offsides.

Good moves from Fifa. Since technology is taken over virtually everything in humans sphere....future generations would probably thank Fifa for this.

I know change is often difficult to accept, we just have to accept and adapt accordingly to it when it comes.

Is there anything technology has not taken over, or will not take over in future This is just the reality. We need to start embracing it!

To be honest, this will kill the remaining fun in watching football.

Football became less fun watching when
1st, overpriced players. Eg:VVD, Bale, Bissaka, Maguire, Hudson Odoi and all those overhyped English players.
2nd, VAR. common, those arguments of it was an offside or not, penalty or not made football fun.

Let them allow our referees and linemen be biko!

Those abracadabras are the spices of the game. After each match, we argue about what should have happened and what shouldn't have. That's the fun there's to the game. But now... It's bleeped!!
smilies !!! You are right. In an Arsenal match Chamberlain touched a ball inside 18 yard box but Gibbs was given a Red Card....mistaken identity
