Nigerians have reacted to a post on the social media which says “The President of Tunisia Just Died God Pls Don’t Forget Nigerian!”

The post was not directed to an individual but followers was of the opinion that it was directed to the Nigerian President.

LedonNG recalled that the Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, the North African country’s first democratically elected leader, died 24th July, 2019 at the age of 92.

The veteran politician, the oldest head of state after Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, came to power in 2014, three years after the Arab Spring uprising toppled longtime despot Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and sparked revolts in several Arab nations.
