It's terrible

In the end neither country will be better for it. Nigerians live in SA and Nigeria houses some of SA's biggest forex earning businesses abroad

This is very shameful.

A lot of us don't know that it is the brand that is South African but the businesses and stores in Shoprite are largely Nigerians.

How are we now better than the Southies? We are tilting the narrative.

What's the ratio of SAs working in a Nigerian owned auto dealer shop in SA to Nigerians working in a SA owned bank (Stanbic IBTC) in Nigeria?

If you loot and destroy Stanbic IBTC branches, at least 5000 Nigerians will lose their jobs (formal and informal); over 100,000 depositors will lose their savings and nothing will happen. In fact, Nigerian owned NDIC will end up paying the damages and some paltry sum to insured depositors. At the end of the day, SA shareholders of the bank will lose out but a large percentage of the losses will be retained and suffered by Nigerians and their dependants.

We should think please, hoodlums don't understand how these things work so let's discourage the attitude as much as possible.
