By Nigerian standards?

There is a lot of fear right now, of being inadequate to meet the needs of parents and consequences of not doing so.

List your expectations and responsibilities as a Nigerian adult, towards your parents, just to be clear.

** No mention of wife/husband or what she did or didn't do please, keep the discussion limited to yourself and your parents alone**

Also keeping in mind, all people are not the same, closeness for one might be annoying for another.

People browsing these forums might be getting an impression Nigerians have very close knit loving family structures and everybody likes each other.
