Police Recover N200,000 From Mentally Challenged Woman In Delta by Naijaalive(m): 5:13pm On Sep 20, 2019
A mentally challeneged woman carrying a huge amount of money which made her a target, has been reunited with her family after police officers from Ekpan Police Divisional Headquarters in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, came to her aid.

The Police led by the Divisional Police Officer SP Ibok Asanaenyi, recovered N200k from the mentally challenged woman identified as Miss Regina Micah, which hoodlums in the community tried to snatch from her.

Handing over the recovered sum to the family of Regina said to be an indigene of Kiagbodo community in the state, the DPO instructed that the money should be deposited into a bank account for her upkeep. He also promised to always monitor it to ensure it is judiciously and prudently used for her.

What kind of news report is this?
No where in the report says how she came about the money.

Was it her proceeds from good samaritans?
Was it that she came across it.
Or it has always been with her when she newly 'kolo'?

Half-baked news!

.........which hoodlums in the community tried to snatch from her.
We trust dem lazy youths! wink

That was the question on my mind too? How come she was in possession of the money? What do they mean by "ensuring the family makes judicious use of it"? I no understand o

The police officers were scared.

After seeing the woman’s mental state they could have been imagining it’s money from the gods.

The DPO said he will "monitor it to ensure it is judiciously and prudently used"... but forgot to add "for a management fee of 10% monthly". What hoodlums could not take from her, either her family or the DPO will. No be Naija we dey?

Let me state it here that with this CBN cashless policy, the police will now begin to arrest people with cash.
