* Ancient Egyptian metal smelting factories have been discovered in Yoruba land and Igbo land.
* Ancient Egyptian gold mines have been discovered in Yoruba land and Igbo land.

* Ala meaning “our survival” or “our provider”and Ba’ala meaning “bow to our provider”is a deity worshipped by ancient Egyptians and Cushitic Nubians for thousand of years. Since the ancient times till today, traditional priests of Odinani in Igbo land still worship Ala.
* The ancient Egyptians builth special temples called “Eredo” in Yoruba land which still exists till today.
* Yoruba land was a sacred land to “Ifa Oroh” or Pharoah which was the religion of ancient Egypt. Some Egyptian priests took pilgrimages to Yoruba land to offer sacrifices to the gods at temples called Eredo.
* The posting of Egyptian soldiers to guard the Egyptian gold mines at Ile Ife led to the settlement of many Egyptian soldiers at Ife and the naming of the city “Ile Ife Wura” meaning “Land of Love of Gold”.

* The Yoruba cap worn in Yoruba land and the Igbo cap worn in Igbo land by chiefs and elders originated from the caps worn by senior Egyptian soldiers in Yoruba land in the ancient times. These caps are similar in shape to the crown worn by the kings of Upper Egypt in the ancient times.
* The traditional title name of “Oba” for Yoruba Kings and Igbo Kings originated from the ancient Egyptian title name “Hoga” which was the military title for the King of ancient Egypt in the old Kingdom.
* The ancient Yoruba military title name “Oga Iso” (or ogiso in Benin language) means “senior guard” and it comes from the title name of the commanders of the Egyptian soldiers posted from Egypt to Yoruba land to guard the Egyptian gold mines in Yoruba land.

Some plausibility in your story but am interested in the source. River Niger and Benue migrations were true and the isakiri or samaria. There are some facts but please give us some sources

Igbos and Yorubas are not the same people...they don't look alike, don't reason the same way, one shows love, the other shows evil, envy and wickedness for no reason. Lets stop this propaganda. The earlier we separate like Pakistanis and Indians the better for us all. US scientists have studied and made it clear that Igbos and African Americans are a rare breed of black people, different from Africans. Their brain structure as seen below is different from that of Africans; so trying to compete with them, is a waste of time because you are two different sets of human beings. Go and read the book by Dr. Sowell to learn more

Black Israelites/Negroes/Igbos: flat head top, muscular, hairy, well built, strong bones, come in light and dark skin, very high testesterone in both men and female.
Africans/Yorubas: cone head top, skinny, not muscular, not hairy, not well built, less strong bones, very dark skin, low high testesterone in both men and female.

Deuteronomy does not mean ‘written down for the children’ as claimed in the other thread. It’s similarity to Igbo ‘detueru nu umu’ is coincidence.

Deuteronomy means second law and has Greek origin.

Deuteros...secondary
Nomos.....law

Deuterostome...second mouth in taxonomic classification.

We all left from Egypt is not disputable but Igbos were Isrealites who escaped from Egypt while Yorubas were core Egyptians who migrated to the territory presently called Nigeria.

Information as you posted itt can be misleading as far as I am concerned. Even if you're so desirous to establish connection of migration of Yoruba, then you need do better than ‘Ifa Oro' because it is a false cognate or a false assumption, even if Yoruba history is filled with myth and word's contraction due to migration, names of Yoruba Pioneer ancestor was Èborà( Transliterated in English as Abram) angry . Invariably, work harder to establish a point that can be a reference in the future.

The closest to Faro (Pharaoh) in Yoruba lexicon is Àrolè,which the meaning is an apparent heir to the throne in the same vein, Faro is known as king on the throne.Unfortunately, Ifaodu is a what's known as Ephod in English transliteration. Thus, Ifaodu is semitic in origin. Therefore, don't be in a rush to prove a point but anxious to learn. Ibo and Yoruba aren't the same people even intermarriage has existed for thousands of years. Yoruba identity is distinct from alot of nowadays western Africans.

Again, the Kings crown of Yoruba is Semitic origin and not Egyptian's or Africa's. You can do research on it . The Yoruba sword is Semitic in origin. The Yoruba names are Semitic in origin devoid of Arabic names. The Yoruba houses weren't learned from Egyptians at all but partly builder of Egyptian land. You see there is a a group of people called Coptic Egyptians Christians. And these people's left Egypt after invasion by Islam. Interestingly, these language has so many words shared with Yoruba and Semitic. The same way Ifaodu called Afa found in ancient Egypt, Morroco i.e North Africa after migration out f that land. In all of these, there is more to this than meets the eye.
