phew! i am looking for the time and chance to cook this soup and savor it before i go back to sch. a good place to do so as cooking nigerian soup in sch is a not a funky business.
okra soup mix with ogbono. now i just wish i have mangala and tinko to go with it.

yes! hot ogbono mix with okra with real pounded yam (not poundo) is outta this world grin.

i concur that ogbono and okra mix wiff diced kpomo plus smoked fish is out of this world, send u accompany the soup wiff semo, or white amala dats pure bliss mehn

mangala and tinko are some dried meat our mom used in making some soup. famous in the east, south east, south south nigeria i think.
not sure the source (cow, horse, camel etc) but tasty kiss kiss

Peeps invite me over to enjoy with you lol.that mix will make anyone eat like food is gonna go extinct!
Every time I go near ogbono or okro soup I always overdo it.
It will seem as if the throat and stomach became a little too receptive.

I thought "mangala" was a type of dried fish while "tinko" is super fried and sun-dried beef  undecided
@Topic,i had okro and ogbono with eba yesterday.I really pigged cos twas more than delish.  kiss
