The country is so bad that the safety and welfare of its citizens are of no importance and concern to the government. Could you imagine what would be the fate of the guy if the bus gets into a head on collision with another vehicle while sitting under that hood and holding it up? He would be crushed like a tomato and yet no road safety officer sees it fit to intervene and put a stop to such ignorant and dangerous behavior. With such odious attitude, I find it very ironic that Nigerians would take umbrage when others refer to the country as "sh*t-hole." Remember, "the difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do." So, if Nigerians want to be seen in a better light, this type of behavior along with other contemptible ones need to be stopped.
