Information reaching us tells that Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) approves Airtel's move to disconnect Globacom network over debt. NCC has granted approval to Airtel Networks Limited partial Disconnection to Globacom from its network. The action was said to have been as a result of Globacom’s failure to settle interconnect debts. The partial disconnection of Globalcom makes it impossible for Glo subscribers to make phone calls to Airtel network. Not withstanding the fact that they, can however receive calls from the network (Airtel). Information of the decision detailed that the disconnection will possibly take effect from October 28 2019. This is a welcome development... Globalcom is the definition of failure, lifelessness & misplaced priority. Globalcom should just leave telecom industry for good. They will do better as a Record Label in the entertainment industry. 2 Likes |
