Sunday’s 1-0 defeat against Newcastle left Arsenal with three defeats out of their last six in the Premier League.

At Molineux, Wolves have won two, drawn two and lost just one – against Villa. But against Arsenal, their recent record is poor.

Arsenal have won both trips to Molineux in the Premier League, scoring seven goals in the process.

They have won their last 10 games against Wolves in all competitions. And since they last lost there in the League, in January 1978, they have won five and drawn one of six.

Arsenal have won just two of their five away games this season and scored just seven goals outside of the Emirates Stadium.

Wolves could be unchanged with Jody Craddock still getting back to fitness after recovering from a hip injury, while Ronald Zubar is out with an ankle complaint. Adlene Guedioura’s broken leg makes him a long-term absentee. Michael Kightly is recovering from an operation on his knee.

Laurent Koscielny will miss the game after seeing his appeal against his sending-off against Newcastle dismissed.

Koscielny will serve an immediate two-match ban, joining fellow centre-half Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles), midfielder Abou Diaby (ankle), left-back Kieran Gibbs (knee) and Aaron Ramsey (broken leg) on the sidelines.

Should goalkeeper Manuel Almunia recover from an elbow injury, he could replace Lukasz Fabianski in goal. Andrie Arshavin is also pushing for a start after coming off the bench on Saturday, although the best fellow forward Robin Van Persie (ankle) can hope for is another substitute appearance.

Arsenal will win but they'll struggle. Wolves did well against United until the dying seconds of the game when they conceded that goal. They are exciting going forward- Milijas, Hunt and Jarvis bring in a lot guile and are quite creative. There is also Kevin Doyle who if he comes to the party, would be a handful for the Arsenal defence. There's also Ebanks Blake that can come in from the bench and do the damage.
I think this promises to be an exciting game.
