Take water like your life depends on it and also eat vegetables voraciously(broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, carrot, garlic, onion, spinach,e.t.c) , eat it like you are herbivorous and thank me later. You can also take supplements if you can afford it

Finally, avoid Instagram lotion/ soap sellers and go back to baby soap and oil for lotion. I use baby soap and oil and my skin has forever loved me back much better. (I am fair tho). You might also want to wait 2 weeks before changing soap or lotion before using a new one.

You can use palmers cocoa butter. This lotion is simply nature’s goodness. It is moisturizing and good for dry skin. It also fades stretch marks I hear and undeniably smooth on the skin. However I’d advise you not use too much on your face because you could get face clog but hey, it’s amazing, isn’t it. It also has a soap too, I haven’t tried it but I hear it is amaze balls

Then there is Nivea cocoa butter lotion. God, I once used this because it’s scented like my mama, it has a chocochoco scent and smooooth on the skin. If you have a sensitive skin like mine, this is your best bet.

For skin care soaps, well, I am not too certain but makes sure you hold your dark skin tight, no toning or lightening. You could try baby soaps to get silky skin
