Below is a narration of how a young man showed appreciation to the teacher who politely prevented him from humiliation after he stole a wristwatch back in school.

Some teachers get good mind sha, In my uni days if a lecturer expose a student caught in exam malpractice, the lecturer gets 10% from the $200 paid for a re-seat by the student.
This particular lecturer caught me in the act and quietly told me to dock my tools, I was shocked because e no dey hard dem to shout ''stand up''

Is not about the story been fake is the moral behind the story.

Fake story. Teacher searched their pockets with his eyes closed.

I don't see how the lesson gotten from this story aligns with the teacher's action. Yes, not all deeds deserve punishment, but the teacher would have at least said something to the boy in private. Maybe mentor or monitor him as stated by this poster, which the teacher failed to do.
Not all kids will have a change of mind like the child in this story. Some will devise more crafty means to carry out their deeds.
