Does nysc calculate age by year of graduation or by the year you registered for nysc

Pls help me,i graduated in 2012 and nysc data says 2017. went to student affairs,drafted letter but still my dashboard says 2017 exempted based on age. I am frustrated.

what's ur year of admission and date of birth.

You are above 30 years already. It's an automatic exemption

It does not mean..they look at your current age...not the age you were when you graduated

Thats strange. I sha wan serve.i dont believe your quote.my grafuation date was also wrongly input

have you registered already? nysc will use the age on your jamb or the age your enter higher institution and if not correct, you can serve if the age on your waec certificate is not more than 29 as at when registered

Sadly i regiatered in july and already passed 30.
But i still want to reduce my age,anyway out

It does not mean..they look at your current age...not the age you were when you graduated

stop misleading people with false information...... Nysc calculate your age base on the time you graduated not the time of deployment. Meaning if you graduate at 29 but decide to go for service in the next five years by then u will be 34 yrs you are more than qualify for youth service.
